Artes Culturales
Artes Culturales introduces young people to Afro-Latin arts through low-cost group classes in dance, music, and theatre. Participants explore creative expression, build confidence, and connect with cultural traditions in a supportive environment.

Jovenes en Accion (JEA)
Jóvenes en Acción (JEA) is a year-round program rooted in Afro-Latin arts and culture. Youth participate in arts training, education support, mentoring, civic engagement, and organizing while growing as artists, students, leaders, and community members.
Good Fit For
- Students in grades 8–12
- Teens interested in arts, leadership, and community change
- Young people looking for a strong sense of belonging and support
- Youth interested in future leadership opportunities through HSTF

Caminos
Caminos supports young people as they prepare for life after high school. Participants receive coaching, workshops, mentoring, and support as they explore college, career, training, and other pathways toward their goals.

- 11th and 12th grade students
- Recent high school graduates
- Young adults looking for support with college, career, or next steps
- JEA graduates who want to stay connected and continue growing as leaders


Youth Organizing
Youth Organizing gives young people a way to build leadership skills and work on issues that affect their lives, families, and neighbors. Through LSJS Youth Organizing, youth participate in organizing, training, and advocacy while learning how to identify community needs, use their voices, and take action with others.
Good Fit For
- Young people ages 15–19
- Youth who live in or are connected to Jackson Square
- Teens interested in organizing, advocacy, and community leadership


School Partnerships
Learn Through Dance is a school partnership program that brings Afro-Latin dance, culture, and learning into classrooms. Unlike HSTF’s youth enrollment programs, this program is arranged directly with schools and educators.
