Gala de 35 Años marks a milestone for Hyde Square Task Force and Boston’s Latin Quarter. After years of bringing supporters together through our annual breakfast, HSTF is introducing an elevated evening celebration honoring three and a half decades of impact.
Guests will experience an evening of conversation, youth stories, honoree recognition, a look at what comes next—and an Afro-Latin dance celebration that brings HSTF’s cultural traditions directly into the room.
The evening will also offer a look ahead at HSTF’s plans for the historic Blessed Sacrament campus, including a permanent performance space and modernized headquarters for youth programs.
Guests arrive to a warm welcome with heavy appetizers served through dinner stations, mingling, and conversation.

An optional guided lesson followed by open dancing brings one of HSTF’s most powerful cultural traditions directly into the room.
Supporting Gala de 35 Años is an investment in the young people, cultural traditions, and neighborhood connections shaping Boston’s future. For 35 years, Hyde Square Task Force has helped young people grow as artists, leaders, and changemakers while strengthening Boston’s Latin Quarter.
For more than three decades, HSTF has nurtured the voices, creativity, and leadership of young people throughout Boston’s Latin Quarter.
One hundred percent of HSTF seniors graduate high school and continue to college or career training. Today’s HSTF youth are Boston’s next generation of professionals, leaders, and innovators.
HSTF has served as a cultural anchor in one of Boston’s most historically significant neighborhoods, connecting young people, families, artists, and community partners.
HSTF centers Afro-Latin dance, music, and theatre as tools for youth development, cultural connection, and community identity.
Our goal is to raise $150,000, with all proceeds supporting HSTF youth programs. Corporate sponsors are essential to making that possible.
